NICKY's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

NICKY's Story...
Nicky is a gorgeous blend of everything fluffy. maybe collie, aussie and husky. He weighs 49 lbs now and is 8 1/2 mos old. He was left in the shelter when someone took his 2 siblings. they left the best one. He cried for 2 nights after but then he knew I loved him and would take special care of him. He is sensitive, calm and sweet yet loves to play and chomp on his bone. He is more independent than the other pups. Likes to lay in the doorway which is not good for air conditioning.
Nick has beautiful coloring with just a tinge of black on his back, face and tail. He is mostly cream and tan with almond shaped eyes.
He is growing very fast now but pick him up and he melts into you. Nick is the biggest cuddler . His favorite activity.

We are being very particular about his future home. No children under 6 . buyt he loves to play so older kids would be great . He needs a fenced yard. We also want someone home with him because he needs lots of time and attention.. . He likes to play with other pups but prefers YOU. Not a good dog to be left home alone all day. Nick needs a pal to play with not a sr dog who won't like his playfulness..
no young kids
not alone all day
needs a doggy pal not a sr who won't be bothered with him
fenced yard preferred

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NICKY, a Raleigh Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Raleigh, or seeking a Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Raleigh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raleigh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raleigh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raleigh paves the way for another one to be saved.
