Lulu's Story...
Lulu was turned into rescue when her family didnt have time for her, though she really needs training so she didnt get a lot of attention ever. she is housebroken, crate trained and very sweet. She is good with kids and most other dogs. We were told she was purebred, then after we had her a couple days were told she was a mix. She is very underweight but wont be a heavy dog as she is lighter boned. She is very loving and loves attention, will follow you everywhere, and desperately needs her own secure home. she MUST be an indoor dog . if you are interested in adopting Lulu contact Dawn at citadelbmf@gmail.com or 602-677-8034 you can speed up the process by putting in an application on www.bullmastiff.us/rescue

About Our Rescue Group...
We are the Arizona affiliate of the American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service. The purpose of the American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service is to find homes for unwanted Bullmastiffs that we find either in shelters or occasionally abandoned at vets or take in as owner surrenders from people whose lifestyle has changed. We are not a placement service for our members' unwanted or returned dogs. We will accept owner surrenders from people who have purchased their dogs at pet shops or backyard breeders, but typically the dogs we place are of unknown origin and unknown age. All are neutered before they are placed and given the vet care they need so they can be represented as being in good health.

Our Adoption Process...
We rarely have dogs under the age six months of age and the average age of the dogs we place is around 2 - 5 years. Anyone interested in adopting a dog must first complete and return the adoption application found on www.bullmastiff.us/rescue. We prefer that it be done on line if at all possible. Anyone adopting a dog must pay a fee which will reimburse the Rescue Service for the expenses involved in adopting the dog from the shelter and getting the necessary veterinary attention. The fee normally is $350-$500 with reduced fees for elderly dogs.
