My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is a really good, smart, loving and well behaved, 4
year old purebred female American Bulldog. Due to health
issues her familyare no longer able to give her the care
and attention they want her to have. They were hoping
that Sam would do well with their new living situation, but
the new apartment is too small and Sam has nowhere to
run or play.. She’s been around men and is Ok with them,
but is more used to women. Sam is happy and energetic
and likes to go for walks and runs. She also settles down
on her bed after a run, and likes to be in the house with
people. She sleeps on her bed through the night, and until
the family wakes up, she stays very quiet. She’s good with
visitors and doesn’t jump up on them or overpower them
at the front door. Sam is good with other dogs and was
raised from puppyhood with a male American Bulldog, who
passed away last year. A frequent family visitor brings over
a little terrier and Sam is fine. She also gets along with cats
and lives with one now. Before her family had to move,
Sam would get walks through parks, around people, bikes,
children playing, cars, and even chickens! Sam wasn’t raised
with children though, so even though kids have walked up
to her at the park and petted her, it’s not certain how she
would adapt to living with children. She learns fast, sits and
lays down for treats. We would prefer her to go to someone
with experience with bully breeds.

Sam is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
