Either All Paws or Alpha Dogs Transport brings our rescue dogs north after adoption weekly leaving Friday night and arriving at one of their several stops in PA, NJ, CT, NH on Saturday. They charge $125 for their services and is paid to them when you claim your pup. They also hand off all the dog's vetting records. An adoption fee will also apply to cover the cost of that vetting and health certificate required by the transport.
Benny was found abandoned with his best bud, a German Shepherd on a deserted TN country road. They were obviously dumped by their owner and they were so confused and depressed when rescued. A G. shepherd rescue took Benny's friend. Poor Benny was so depressed when separated that he stayed off by himself for over a month in his new foster home. When he came to us he was covered in fleas and had large hot spots where he had scratched himself raw. With some TLC, his coat has now come back and he is coming out of his shell nicely. Benny is 7 yrs. old and would love to be in a calm, quiet home where he is the center of attention. He is fine with other dogs, but doesn't play much. He prefers to relax and just enjoy a good ear or belly rub. He also loves riding in the car...just say "Benny - let's go" and he runs for the car! Benny would make a wonderful companion.
Benny is neutered, UTD on shots, HW negative and on preventative.
