Tyson's Story...
***TYSON UPDATE***

Tyson is just over a year old now and continues to develop and grow. He is already at the 110 lb. mark with a little more weight to come before his development is complete.
Tyson is very high energy and needs a lot of daily exercise. Although Tyson gets along with most dogs, he is not "dogpark" material. He is a rough player and could accidentally hurt a dog in play. Tyson is a typical "bulldog" and can be stubborn and bull-headed when he wants to be. He can be a very affectionate and cuddly boy too, but he definately has his "moments" when he tries to push the boundaries. Tyson needs an experienced owner that will keep him on the right path.

We are looking for a home, preferrably in a rural environment. No children under 12 years of age and a home without cats.

There are other dogs in the foster home, however he needs to be paired with similar energys.

If you think Tyson is the boy for you, please contact us at ANML-RESQ!

____________________________________________________________________________

Tyson has been in foster care for over a month now and he has just celebrated his 1st birthday.

Tyson is a pretty massive young fellow for his age - already the size of a large breed dog at almost 100 lbs. and still growing. We expect Tyson to be around 120 lbs. when full grown.
Tyson is a very high energy boy that needs regular exercise - somewhere that he can run full out, safely for early morning exercise and an additional run in the evening before bed. A walk around the block is not enough for this boy. With proper exercise and stimulation, Tyson is a great dog. He is very powerful on leash if he sees something he wants, but without distractions, he walks very nicely.

Tyson needs an experienced owner - an owner that will teach him through positive reinforcement and an owner that is dedicated to giving Tyson the exercise and stimulation this young, energetic boy needs.

Tyson's favorite things to do everyday is running with the 4 wheeler for morning and evening runs, he loves to go swimming and likes frogging too. He LOVES to be outdoors, rain or shine...so a family that enjoys outdoor activity would be right up his alley.

Tyson is GREAT with children, however because of his size and sheer energy we do not recommend him for a family with children under 10 years of age. He can wind up pretty good when he gets excited and could really hurt a small child by accident if they stepped in his way while in full "zoomies".

Tyson is clean in the house, non-destructive. However he will counter-surf if he smells something good up there. He only does this when you aren't home, so counters and tables should be clear of any goodies when you leave.

After the days activities, Tyson will be your shadow and loves to snuggle and nuzzle your ear with his soft mush.
If you think Tyson is the boy for you, please contact us at ANML-RESQ.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a Caledon English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Caledon, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Caledon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Caledon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Caledon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Caledon paves the way for another one to be saved.
