Meow! My name is Jorge
I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Jorge is an amazing cat with a heart the size of California. While Jorge was a little shy at first, with a little patience, he began to come around. His soft spotted fur is like velvet and his eyes are the color of solid gold. What a little time and patience can accomplish! Now, you can sit with Jorge and watch your favorite show on television. Always true gentleman at heart, he is never without her manners. And while older and distinguished, Jorge still has plenty of pep in his step. Jorge is patiently waiting for that loving home and a person to call his own. Bring Jorge home and watch him blossom into the cat we know he can be when you make him part of the family.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.
At The Cat House, our mission is to:

2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
You may visit The Cat House Thursday through Monday, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open Sun-Fri 9am-5:30pm and Saturday 10am-5:00pm.
All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.
