Gracie's Story...
Gracie is a lovely, mature companion dog for someone who wants a laid back dog that will stay with them - all over the house. She is about 8/9 years old. Her only wishes are love, being with her person and food.

Gracie is as happy being in the yard watching someone garden as she is in the house with her person. She's reliably house trained, crate trained - though she doesn't need a crate, all shots, spayed, and heart worm negative. She gets along nicely with other dogs and cats.

Gracie learns quickly and will bond quickly, especially if there is an obedience class where she gets praise. She walks nicely on lead. All you need to do is look at those gentle eyes that say "love me."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Oliver Springs Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Oliver Springs, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Oliver Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oliver Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oliver Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oliver Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
