Dolly Madison's Story...
Meet Dolly Madison!!! Or Dolly for short...

Dolly is a wonderful bassett mix that is about a year old. She is a wonderful dog that has a typical layed back bassett personality! She loves to go for rides in the car and for walks. She walks great on a leash. We are working on her housetraining and has only had a couple of "accidents" so far. She would make a great companion for anyone! She just loves the attention. She is up to date on all her shots and has been spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.00 and includes transportation to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly Madison, a Jackson Basset Hound/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Basset Hound/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Basset Hound/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
