TANGO's Story...
This black & white very handsome boy was found wandering in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. Lost and alone, he tried his best to find a dry, warm place to call his own.
He attempted several houses on the street to no avail. A kind college student took pity on the handsome dude and made a shelter on the front patio for him. The student could not keep him because there were 6 other students in the house with 2 resident cats.

Tango has been neutered, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and updated on his shots. This boy is a lover and wants to be loved. Please give him a chance to show you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TANGO, a Philadelphia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
