I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
The first step in our adoption process is an application, which you can submit online at www.littlebitsrescue.org It does not obligate you in any way, but we do not arrange meetings or make telephone contact until we have one. Poppy was abandoned in a local park with his fur family and they have moved on to new families but Poppy is waiting for you to come and fetch him home. Probably because he was once abandoned by his family, he wants to get to know you gradually- in fact, he seems to say "you don't know me like that!" at first but that is very short lived. This handsome little man LIVES to play with toys, toys and did I mention TOYS!! And his second favorite game is snuggling with you- day and night! He just loves to be close to his humans, so he can take care of them properly - and never miss an opportunity for some snuggle time or perhaps a game or two of fetch or toy search. He adores other dogs and gets along well with the dogs in his foster home. At only 2 years old and 10 pounds, Poppy is young enough to have plenty of years left for loving you and his small size makes him a great little traveler. That is his third favorite thing- car rides! Can you make room in your heart and home for this great little boy and his toys? The good Samaritan who originally found Poppy in the park has been amazed at his rapid progress toward becoming a great fur companion. He has been neutered, had his vaccinations and heartworm tested and started on preventive. For just $75 and your approved adoption application, you can have a wonderful lifetime companion, who will dedicate himself to taking care of YOU! Because of his small size, Poppy cannot go to a home with children under 12 or a dog over 35 pounds. He is being fostered near Birmingham, AL and we do approve out of state applications; however you must be willing to "fetch" you new family member because we DO NOT ship or transport our dogs. Get that application in today so that we can begin the process of uniting your family! If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an APPLICATION
We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.
