My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Is it a Pug? Is it a Beagle? No! It's a Puggle! One of the new "designer breeds" that we old folks used to call mutts! But we won't hold it against Teddy that pet stores are making a fortune selling his brothers and sisters for bigger bucks than purebred dogs! Teddy was likely one of those pet shop puppies. Why he ended up in the shelter is a mystery considering the likely amount paid for him and the fact that he is such a sweet, friendly, playful guy. His paperwork from the shelter says that he's 6 months old, but we think more likely 9 months to a year - and very much still a puppy. As you can see in the pictures, Teddy has a bit of "cherry eye" in the corner of his left eye. He is being neutered on June 27th and the cherry eye will be repaired at that time with just a nip, tuck, and stitch. Teddy knows some basic commands such as sit, no, down, come. He is very smart and inquisitive. He loves to play fetch and gets along well with other dogs - pays no mind to cats. Teddy is being fostered in southern New Jersey and his asking adoption fee is $350. E-MAIL INQUIRIES WILL BE RESPONDED TO MUCH FASTER THAN TELEPHONE CALLS!
