Bailey - the miracle cat's Story...
Please contact Eloise (mkeithan@windstream.net) for more information about this pet.

I call Bailey the miracle cat because that's exactly what he is! I found him in a busy parking lot, along a very busy highway, in late October, 2011.  He was cold, wet, hungry, and VERY ill.  When i took him to the vet, everyone, including the vet, assumed he was a kitten, because he weighed just over 2 pounds.  However, when they examined his teeth, they realized that he was a young adult!  Bailey is now healthy, weighs 11 pounds,  and eats like a horse!  He's affectionate and sweet and loves to be petted - especially when he's eating.

And what a LAPCAT!  If I sit down for ANY reason, he's one of the first to be on my lap.  He will stay there as long as I'm willing to sit with him. Bailey has a purr-motor that works overtime.  He loves to stretch out on my lap, roll onto his back, and take a nap.   He gets along very well with other kittens and cats, although he's never met any dogs.  Bailey is very shy with new people and environments, but if given extra love and patience and understanding, his wonderful personality will soon come out.

Right now Bailey is sharing a home with 13 other kitties, but he'd dearly love to have a family and home to call his own. He is neutered, litter-trained, feline leukemia negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations.    If you would like to meet Bailey, and maybe ask him to join your family, please contact Eloise, 570-538-5610 or mkeithan@windstream.net.
