Huey's Story...
*Courtesy Listing- please email the contact below if you are interested:)*

Isn't Huey the most impossibly cutest dog ever? Huey was found by a good samaritan while getting picked on by a group of kids at a baseball field. After waiting months for his old home to claim him, Huey is now ready for his permanent home and family. This handsome stunner is a little sensitive and takes some time to warm up to people, but when they gain his trust, Huey rewards them with a cheerful, happy, affectionate temperament. Huey is a perfect gent with other dogs and cats, and has no separation anxiety when left alone. In the home and out in the world, Huey is a quiet easy presence with good manners. Huey is about 3 years old, 9 lbs, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. Huey is being fostered near LAX but his foster is willing to drive up to an hour for serious inquiries.

Please email Erin at esundell@dsyf.org to meet this little doll.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huey, a Mission Viejo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
