Sawyer
Sawyer is a Courtesy Listing - Please contact Frances (foster in CT) if you would like to heal Sawyer’s broken heart - frances.schroeder@gmail.com Thank You!
Handsome, lovable Sawyer is a sweet Golden mix who will be a healthy 12 years young in August. Sawyer's family surrendered him to the rescue because they knew he needed more attention than their busy lives could give. Sawyer had intense lick granulomas on two legs. These are terrible self-inflicted wounds from the relentless anxiety of being kenneled over and over. His rescuer brought him to the vet immediately to look at his hurt legs. He is now healing nicely and taking antibiotics, pain killers and joint support. Sawyer loves a good walk, a nap by your side, and anything delicious for dinner. He is a typical happy go lucky Golden mix. He is fine with cats but standoffish with active pups as he worries about his sore legs getting hurt.
Sawyer is an ideal companion for anyone looking for a true friend. Sawyer is up to date with his rabies vaccination and recent blood work has shown his body is very healthy. All he needs is someone to heal his broken heart. Is that someone – YOU!?
