Sweetie's Story...
You may remember Sweetie, who was previously in the rescue. Due to a change in her family’s living arrangements, sadly, Sweetie will be coming back into the rescue. Her foster family indicated that she is a wonderful dog with no bad habits. She walks great on a leash, is house-broken, and loves attention. She gets along well with other dogs but does just fine being an only dog. Can you find it in your heart to offer this sweet girl a temporary or permanent home??

Sweetie is a very gentle, calm and well-behaved young girl and will make an awesome addition to anyone’s family. She is super gentle with children and doesn’t seem bothered with squirrels or small furries. Please get in touch if you have room in your home and heart for little Sweetie! Please visit our website - www.texasbullterrier.org - to complete the adoption application form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetie, a Houston Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
