Joley: 2 months's Story...
If you are seeing me here it is because I am already in rescue, living in foster care, fully vetted, FIV & FeLV negative, and ready to be adopted! I'm also litter box trained, friendly, and have been living as an indoor cat.

I am fostered in Ohio and can be transported to PA, NY, CT, VT or NH once I am adopted.

My adoption fee is $100, and transport (via www.rescueriderstransport.com) costs an add'l $135. (Bonded pairs can be transported at a two for one rate.)

The best way to find out all about me is to submit the application on the website below. Then, my foster mom will contact you and tell you all about me!

Thanks for looking at my pictures. And I hope we will be best friends soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joley: 2 months, a Farmington American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Farmington, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
