Miley's Story...

Sweet Miley is a little shy, but she is becoming more outgoing everyday. She may not come to you immediately, but if you take the time to go to her you will find out just how sweet she is.  She loves to be petted on the top of her head and right between the eyes and purrs her approval all the while.  She just needs a little love and patience to bring her out of her shell. Given that extra love you will have the most wonderful pet to call your own. Won't you come and see her in the room called Nursery today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miley, a Westville American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Westville, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Westville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westville paves the way for another one to be saved.
