Zip's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zip's Story...
ZIP is only 6 wks. old and has been through a lot in his short life. He and his 5 siblings were relinquished to a good Samaritan who knew they were not being taken care of. They were starved and covered in fleas. DDWTN was contacted and we now have them in our care. They have had their first puppy shot and will have another, a bordatella vaccination and will be wormed twice prior to adoption. They will not be available until the weekend of August 3. The spay/neuter will be left to the adopter as they are too young for this surgery.

Zip currently weighs two pounds at 6 wks and should top out about 20-25 pounds. His mom is a Boston Terrier weighing about 20 pounds. His dad is a chihuahua which weighs about 10 pounds.

These pups are in Greeneville, TN in foster care and will be transported north via Alpha Dog Transport upon adoption. They charge $125 when you claim your pup and all her vet records will come with her.

To adopt, please complete our application on our main website and click on "dog adoption". .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zip, a Providence Boston Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Providence, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
