ASHLEY's Story...
Ashley is a sweet and super smart 9 month old, female, Australian Shepherd mix.
TEMPER: Loving, playful,tender, calm.

HISTORY
She was abandoned in a waste land. She was 2 months old and a broken leg, she had a surgery and recovered extremely fast and well. She loves company and playing with other dogs, she’s never been around cats, so she will need supervision, but she’s not aggressive at all. She deserves a good family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ASHLEY, a El Cajon Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
