History- Tinkerbell came into rescue after she started getting a little too wild at the shelter she was at. She had been in custody for about 6 months and was just too excited for people to handle when they would take her out of her kennel.. One of the supervisors asked us to take her so she could run as she just needed to stretch out and play.. Sure enough we brought her into our program and she probably ran for about an hour just all over the property-- she was so excited to be out. Fast forward- she got adopted and started jumping the woman's fence- she was bored and the lady decided she was no longer going after her and instead got another dog. So now she is back with us and doing great just needs her forever home..
Temperament- Very sweet with everyone. She loves new people and new dogs -- she would make an amazing greeter for any public place.. She is happiest when she can see as many people as possible to keep her mind active..
Energy Level- Mid-high level energy.
Dogs/Cats- She loves to play with the other dogs.. They can run and wrestle non-stop.. She gets along with the cats and kittens very well with no issues at all.. She just loves everyone and everything...
Housetrained- She is great in the house.. No accidents always goes outside..
Tinkerbell is a perfect girl as far as socialization and being a perfect companion however she does have a few faults.. She is terrified of fireworks and storms and she can jump my 6' privacy fence and will not come home on her own.. However when she does jump I can meet her at the end of the ditch bank and open my car door and she will hop right in.. She loves car rides!!! This dog would be a perfect traveling companion-- maybe for someone who lives in an RV or a truck driver who needs a companion.. This would be right up her alley-- nothing better for her than being out and about..
Adoption fee $150 includes spay, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchip, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a newly formed rescue in Peralta, NM. We are still very small and currently in process of getting our 501c3 tax exempt staus..
It is mainly just myself, my two daughters and a small group of volunteers. We only take in animals from shelters who are scheduled to be put down. All animals are housed in my home and on my property.
We started this rescue due to the simple fact that there are so many wonderful dogs dying everyday at the shelters because there just isn't enough room.
We do not descriminate against any breed. Every dog has the potential to be a great family pet, working dog, or therapy dog- just as every dog has the potential to become a "dangerous dog" due to the simple fact that they all (or most anyway) have teeth and can bite when provoked or trained to obey their owners commands.
We do it for the love of the animals and the need to find forever homes for the ones impounded due to no fault of their own.
Send us an e-mail request for an application.
We are available by appointment only.
You must fill out an application before setting up an appointment.
We are located in Peralta, NM 87042
If you are interested in adopting from us but have questions please feel free to call or e-mail me.
In order to start the application process you must send us an e-mail request for an application. We will e-mail it to you as soon as possible. Then just fill it out and send it back via e-mail. Once we receive it then we can schedule an appointment for you to come out and meet the animals.
We are not an open to the public facility with specific hours of operation. We are a foster home and therefore require an application submitted before an appointment can be made and directions given out.
If you would like to adopt from out of state then you must be willing to come out to meet and adopt the pet you are interested in.. We do not ship pets nor will we meet someone somewhere.. We want adopters to come out and spend at least an hour with this pet in their environment before adopting just to ensure there is a connection. We would hate for the adoption to not work and be so far away.

We adopt out our animals within the United States --as long as the adopters have references and can get a vet, animal control officer, or somebody from a rescue organization in their area to do the home visit and are willing to come out to meet the animal they are interested in and myself so that we can all get to know each other..
We work with rescues all over the United States and, of course our local shelters.
