Polly's Story...
Polly is a very sweet and loving redbone coonhound. She is about 13 months old and a very good girl. Polly gets along well with other dogs, loves people and very good with children. Polly was probably abandoned because she would not hunt, but will be a great family companion. She is crate trained, spayed, house trained, tested heartworm negative and current on monthly preventative. Polly's adoption fee is $350. Please email skislope21@yahoo.com for more information and adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polly, a Monroe Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
