Cupcake's Story...
Cupcake is a bundle of energy and is all about having a great time, enjoying all that life has to offer her! Cupcake is enthusiastic about everything, giving 110% to whichever activity she may be participating in at the time. Not surprisingly, this little gal LOVES to play! Throw a ball, any ball, across the room and watch with a big smile on your face as Cupcake zooms across the room batting at and chasing the ball as fast as her little paws can carry her! Wave a wand toy in front of Cupcake and you'll get her attention immediately as she focuses her entire being on one objective - capture and conquest! She's especially funny with wand toys that have stuffed animals attached to them - upon capture she'll carry the stuffed animal in her mouth, shake her head from side-to-side, and then place the stuffed animal down on the floor to bite as she protectively places a paw over it to prevent it's escape!

Cupcake is just as enthusiastic about her people as she is about playtime! Nothing makes Cupcake happier than being in the presence of her people. She loves to cuddle with her people in a variety of ways. Pick her up and she will snuggle up against you as close as physically possible, where she will then proceed to nuzzle your face, head-butt you, and nearly deafen you with thunderous purring right next to your ear! Cupcake is also happy to sit on your lap where as you pet her you'll benefit from the same head-butts, nuzzling, and purring that you did while holding her! If you're sitting on the floor, Cupcake will plop down next to you. If you're writing something down, Cupcake will bat at your pen and then examine your notes closely by lying down on your papers. As much as Cupcake simply enjoys being in the presence of her people, Cupcake is one smart cookie...she also loves to be with her people because she loves the petting, ear rubs, chin scratches, and head massages that she knows she'll receive from them! Cupcake likes having the area above her tail rubbed too.

Cupcake's enthusiasm extends to the arts of communication and eating as well. Cupcake loves to talk to you about her day and is always happy to listen to what you have to say in return. She will become especially talkative when it's mealtime - Cupcake is a big fan of eating and is not embarrassed by her hearty appetite!

Cupcake is an incredibly sweet kitty who will thrive in a home where there are people who enjoy her companionship just as much as Cupcake enjoys the companionship of her people. There's something incredibly heartwarming about realizing that your mere presence alone is enough to make Cupcake's day and anything above and beyond that is just icing on the cake to this loving little girl! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupcake, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
