My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Fitzgerald. I was born April 20th and rescued along with my mom Louise Mae and five littermates Hemingway, Hawthorne, Faulkner, Steinbeck and Capote. We are such good kittens. Capote, Hawthorne and I are the little girls of the bunch. I have short-length brown tabby fur. I will be spayed prior to adoption. I use a litterbox like a good girl and I love to play with my littermates. I have a sweet, calmer personality. I don't rough and tumble as much as the boys and prefer to cuddle a little more than they do.I like to play with toys. I love to climb my kitty tower and sit on my shelf watching the leaves blow in the wind. I am sweet and friendly. I enjoy other kitties and lots of companionship.A I am an indoor-only cat who cannot be declawed, which is a painful amputation of a cat's knuckles (all kitties need their knuckles and claws for proper growth and development, balance, play, communication, stretching, defense and much more). Please give me a home where I'll be loved for life! Adoption fee: $100 and includes testing, deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adopt a pair: $150.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
