Sydney Elizabeth's Story...
Sydney Elizabeth is a Blue Crown Conure. She is very tame and gentle. She steps up nicely, although she prefers to be on your shoulder. She adores attention.

Sydney Elizabeth is very vocal. Some of her favorite phrases are “Ma,” “kiss kiss,” “I want to step up,” “Mmmm good stuff,” “hello,” and “fuzzy fuzz.” Her favorite thing to do is listen to music and dance! She loves most fruits and vegetables and goes crazy for grapes. She will happily eat whatever you are having.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney Elizabeth, a St. Louis Conure was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Conure for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Conure from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Conure breeders who help with Conure rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
