Sugar's Story...
Sweet Sugar was found wandering around a NW Houston sub-division. Signs were posted, but no one responded. Sugar is high energy and super sweet. She is in good health and very playful. She gets along well with other dogs and kids of all ages. She would make a great pet to any loving family. We think she is about 1-2 years old. The photos posted were taken in January 2013.

Give this little curly headed pooch a great and wonderful life. Nobody wants to live in a cage forever. Please help if you like this breed.

About Our Shelter...
Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization. It is a no kill shelter that rescues animals from kill shelters, takes in lost, abandoned, or owner surrender animals. Cash donations along with donations of food, flea medicine, and cleaning supplies are the only means of maintaining this safe haven for rescued animals. The organization is staffed by volunteers and one hired hand that are committed to our furry friends. We welcome scouts and other organizations to spend time at our shelter loving and caring for our animals. Release forms are required for minors, but they are welcome.

Hours for adoption are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee for fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, wormed animals is $150. If the animal is not yet spayed/neutered, a lower fee is available so you can have it done yourself. The contract is a short two pages which can be filled out at the shelter. As we show potential pet adopters the animals we get a feel for their sincerity in adopting a pet. If we feel that the potential adopter is not adopting the pet to love and take care of the pet we reserve the right to refuse an adoption.
