ZIGGY's Story...
Sweet girl Ziggy needs a loving home ASAP. Her humans sadly had to relocate to Australia for their jobs in Summer of 2012. They didn't want to make Ziggy move with a 24-hour flight and monthlong quarantine once there. She is a cute and loveable cat. She’s shy with people she doesn't know, but she’s adventurous and such a snuggle bug when she does get to know you. She loves to play chase and she head bops your leg when she wants to say hello. She loves to be with you wherever you go, the bathroom is a favorite spot. She cutely chatters at the birds outside from her window perch. She has always been a solo pet and is not familiar with other cats or dogs. Ziggy is in excellent health and recently had a full vet check-up. Won't you help this sweetie who is in a bit of a pickle? She was born in 2004. Bio# LL001

About Our Rescue Group...
ICRA is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the suffering of the abandoned cat population of Alameda and Oakland, and to educate people to their plight. We provide foster homes for our rescues until we can place them into loving homes through our adoption program. On a limited basis, we humanely trap feral cats in order to spay/neuter them before releasing them back to their colonies. Our goal is to expand our program for maintaining cat colonies in our communities. To make this expansion possible, we need more volunteers.

Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters pick out a cat or kitten and fill out an application.
There will be a short interview with one of our volunteers. Adoptions do not happen the same day. We will arrange a time to visit your home and the foster parents and a volunteer will meet there. Our adoption fee structure is:

- Cats and kittens (six months to 8 years): $100
- Cats (over 8 years): $75
- Two cats: Full amount for the higher amount cat, half amount for the lower amount cat
For example: a kitten and an adult would be: $100 + $50 = $150
Prior to Adoption all cats and kittens are:
- Spayed or neutered
- FeLV and FIV tested
- FVRCP vaccinated
- De-wormed, and
- Treated for fleas with Advantage or Frontline
