Marcie & Charlie Brown's Story...
A sweet, studious little lady, Marcie (much like the comic) has a best friend - her brother Charlie. While the rest of the kittens are running around, Marcie will find a perch and watch for the best tactical moment to come bounding in, sure to trounce all her brothers. She’s fastidious with her appearance and keeps her brother well-groomed as well. A true lady who keeps herself entertained, her favorite activity is batting at ribbons tied to an oscillating fan.

Charlie is an intrepid little fellow who loves laundry baskets (since they are so good for sticking paws through) and snoozing in glass bowls (they feel good on his tummy). He likes to practice his growls while nomming on good food (just to make sure it won’t run away). He loves to play and gently snuggle with his sister, Marcie. Charlie likes his alone time too, curling up in a dark corner for his afternoon snooze, but when its time for bed, Charlie is the first to curl up on the bed with his humans for some pre-lights out cuddles and snuggles.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marcie & Charlie Brown, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
