My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is an approximately 3 year old female with natural ears. Betty is almost entirely white (Betty White) with just a few black spots here and there, and a big pink nose. Although she is vision impaired, she can see and hear. Betty was turned over to the shelter by a family who said she had shown up a year earlier as a stray. They kept her tied in their back yard during that year. Betty had a spot on her tail removed while she was at the shelter, and she had trouble with it healing. After several surgeries, Betty now has the cutest docked tail about 6 inches long. Betty is currently living with several other female dogs of various sizes and breeds as well as a male. She loves to play with all of them. Because of her vision impairment, Betty is preoccupied with much smaller animals. Betty does protect her food during meal time, so she happily eats in her kennel. Betty does know how to sit, shake, and high four. She does need additional basic obedience. Betty gets very excited to see you and will jump and be a bit mouthy to get your attention. Betty can be a bed hog, but she will sleep in her kennel or her own dog bed. Betty will return the love she receives tenfold.
