Hopper's Story...
This poor boy was the last puppy from a backyard breeder who did not want him anymore. He was found by a nice girl named Emily and was staying in her backyard with two big Labs & a Bunny Rabbit. She could not foster him anymore and he is now at this rescue. He was just neutered and he is ready for adoption. He does tricks for treats and is very sweet natured and plays well with all the dogs here. Walks well on a leash. Crate trained and housebroken. Emily named him Sophocles but I have changed it to Hopper. He was so influenced by the bunny rabbit at Emily's, he remembers him by hopping.Very easy going and laid back this puppy is looking for someone who wants to love him.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Memphis, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
