Bo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bo's Story...
Bo is around 2 years old ,He is fixed, had all his shots and Heartworm negative. We think he might be a pointer mix, he has some beautiful color patterns.
Bo was found in the National Forest. He is a real nice mellow guy, who loves to be around people. He is house broken and loves to cuddling in bed with his new owner. He likes other dogs , but has fun chasing cats. He has been with teen agers in the house and fit right in. He did escape a small pen , so we suggest a secure fenced in yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Portland Beagle/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Pointer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle/Pointer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Pointer breeders who help with Beagle/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
