My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chewey is a 9 week old golden black lab mix. He is a happy, fun puppy who loves to be with his foster family. He has long legs and large ears for his little head. Weighing just over 6 lbs, Chewey is at the beginning of his life. He likes toys and already has a good sense of running after and retrieving balls. He is eager to play with his foster dog sister but is also content to play with his foster parents or chew on a toy. He is sleeping through the night and prefers to cuddle after his early morning potty. Chewey absolutely has a sense of going potty outside, but of course has not mastered that yet.

Chewey will make a wonderful life long companion. He would enjoy a home with another playful doggie friend, but he likely would do great as an only canine child with an energetic family.

Please remember that GRFR adopts puppies to forever families who have sufficient time at home to socialize, house train and nurture their new puppy. Also, note: puppies should not leave your yard or be exposed to any other dogs unless you are certain that such other dogs have been fully vaccinated and are older than six months. They should not go to parks or Petsmart or anywhere else until they have their last booster shot, as they could contract a potentially lethal virus. Puppies often need a few dewormers and we encourage you to discuss this with your vet.
