Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maggie's Story...
Meet Maggie! She was very skinny and very pregnant when she was brought to our clinic. She had a litter of five tiger kittens that have all been adopted to new loving homes. Now that Maggie is an “empty-nester”, she needs a home and people of her own to care for her. She is very lovable and calm around people. She is only about a year old and still has the playfulness of a kitten.

She is spayed, has been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, vaccinated and dewormed. Please respond if you’d like to give her a forever home. If you leave your phone number I will gladly call you. If you would like to meet Maggie, she is staying at Care for Animals, 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI. You are welcome to visit. Our hours are Monday 8-7 and Tuesday - Thursday 8-6. Weekend appointments are also available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
