Four Leaf Clover Update 5/1/12

Clover has been moved from the vet clinic where she has been living and into a foster home. She has blossomed into such a wonderful, confident girl. She loves to sleep on the bed and will purr and purr when you rub her. She is so happy to be out of the cage at the vet clinic and able to roam around in a house, where she can mingle with other cats and become part of a family! We feel she would love to bond with an older single person or a couple. She wants a quiet and calm household. She is such a sweet girl, waiting for her forever home.

Foster Home Needed
Clover has been living in a cage at the veterinary clinic and would love to find a single lady or couple that would like to give her some time to unfold and enjoy life outside her cage. She would do very will in a home invironment and needs to be placed into foster care.

Clover got her name because she was an extremely LUCKY girl. Well, maybe at first not so lucky. One of our foster mothers works at a vet clinic where Clover's owner brought her in for an exam. Clover was on death’s door. She had had kittens about three days before, and they had all died. Clover was extremely dehydrated, weighed only 4 lbs, had a severe infection in her uterus and bacterial infection in her body. Instead of choosing to treat Clover, the owner requested to just have her euthanized! However, Clover’s condition had touched the heart of the veterinarian, and the owner agreed to sign her over to the clinic. She was immediately put on IV fluids and antibiotics. It was touch and go for Clover, but after a few days she was strong enough to get spayed to eliminate the infection. She was a "lucky" girl who found her way into a vet clinic where she received outstanding care and a chance at a new life.

Every day Clover became stronger and stronger. Then one day when the staff arrived in the morning, they noticed that everything in her cage had been moved around. Food bowls upside down, litter scattered about the cage. Clover had begun to play in the middle of the night! Everybody at the clinic was so happy!

Clover has a shiny, easy-care coat with "dilute tortie" markings; her fur is mostly gray, dappled with pink, and she sports a cute white bib at the throat. She is sleek and elegant with very long legs. Her favorite toy is a fur mouse. She has four of them now and romps around chasing them. She purrs all the time and loves to be cuddled in a blanket.

Clover is still living at the clinic but needs a forever home. She is healthy and happy to be safe and well fed but is a bit shy and needs a home with someone who is willing to give her a chance to blossom. She is really good with other cats and probably dogs. She has a special adoption fee for the right adopter.

She will come to you fully vetted, spayed, tested and vaccinated.
