Spitfire's Story...
Hi, my name is Spitfire and I am 12 weeks old. I came from a rescued colony and when I was brought to the rescue I would hiss and spit alot. I actually stomped my foot and would get mad when someone tried to hold me.

But, that is all behind me now. I love to play and you can pick me up and hold me. You know, humans are okay after all.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a dedicated small 501 (C)(3), Non Profit, animal welfare organization. We socialize, adopt and provide care information.

Our Purpose:
We are limited to taking in kittens who have been abandoned. We are limited in space. If you have an unaltered female cat who presented you with kittens, we will help you place the kittens, if we have room, as long as you are willing to have the mom spayed so no more will be born.

Feline Finish Line does not take owner surrendered cats except in very rare circumstances. We all need to encourage families to be responsible pet owners. Cats are not disposable. There are too many homeless cats without shelter, food, water and no one to love them.

Being allergic is a reason we have heard so many times, some even after owning the cat several years. If you truly have an allergy, there are fur treatments, sprays and air cleaners that can help with cat allergy. Please ask us about them.

We need volunteers to help at the organization and to raise funds to cover needed medications, vaccinations and veterinarian services.

We are desperately in need of Foster Homes to help us reach out to help cats.

The cats are a future loving pet for someone. Feline Finish Line is committed to making the best possible match between adopter and adoptee. We want everyone to have a loving and rewarding relationship with their new family member.

Pets are just what the doctor ordered for seniors when it comes to keeping them healthy and happy. They provide comfort in a time of need, company in a time of loss, and friendship free of conditions. Research suggests the unconditional love and companionship provided by a pet can help seniors lead a healthy life.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We are a small 501 (C) (3) non-profit, no-kill, home for kitties. We socialize, adopt and provide care information. Happy and healthy kitties are at home in their cat room and tower where they participate in an open, loving environment. Once the kittie has made it thru Feline Finish Line, they are ready to go to their forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spitfire, a Catasauqua Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Catasauqua, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Catasauqua.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Catasauqua already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Catasauqua breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Catasauqua paves the way for another one to be saved.
