My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moxie is polite, sweet and was the best mother to her five kittens (Jujube, Taffy, Skittles, Rolo, York) that have all been adopted. Moxie is actually quite petite and is full grown at 6 lbs. She is graceful and radiates a regal presence. Moxie's coat is black with chocolate highlights and random flecks of white. She is still a young playful cat herself at an estimated 1.5 years old. Moxie seems to favor a dog’s personality and likes to lie at your feet. Moxie loves belly rubs and will occasionally talk to you in a low coo. She is not an in your face cat. Moxie is named for the lengths she went to protect her kittens. Moxie was a stray community cat that everyone thought was semi-feral, but she has proven she is nothing more than an affectionate girl once she warms up to you. Moxie is being raised in a foster home with three large dogs and two senior male cats. Moxie does exceptionally well with all the animals in the foster home and has even won over the cranky senior cats! Moxie's foster parents had her microchipped as an added benefit for Moxie and her new forever family. It should be noted that introduction with cats and dogs should be taken very slowly if you do not know how your dog will react.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.

We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs. Kittens find it especially comforting and having a built-in playmate often helps them integrate into their new family more easily. Reduced adoption fees may also apply.
