My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is our special gal, Lady Liberty! She is such a good natured girl. Liberty is around 4-5 years of age and is up to date on all of her vaccinations and is spayed. She knows her basic commands and is easy to train. She is also housebroken. Most of all, she craves attention and love, but if you don't want her to be in your space she is okay in her crate or sitting on the floor beside you chewing a bone. She is a very good girl.

Most of all, she craves attention and love, but if you don't want her to be in your space she is okay in her crate or sitting on the floor beside you chewing a bone. Liberty prefers a home without other dogs. She is a good girl around them but does not like them near her bones, treats, or food. She is a very good girl. Liberty wandered into a rescue director's driveway on July 4th after some fireworks scared her away. After a lot of searching, we were unable to find her owners. Liberty is up for adoption and her new family will be screened very carefully. Serious inquiries only, please. Also please note that there may be many families interested in Miss Liberty - we will ask that everyone be patient in scheduling home visits and please understand our need to be extremely picky in finding her new family. We don't want her to end up in this situation again. If your family is not selected, don't give up - there are LOTS of dogs out there looking for their forever home. Thank you!

**Liberty requires a home with no other pets, and a fenced in backyard.**
