My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ohhhhh Prince. We met him on our last trip to Chicago's Animal Care and Control, where his owner had just relinquished him the day before. He was absolutely filthy, skinny, full of ticks and fleas, had sores on his body, and a clear line around his neck where a rope or collar had obviously been tied for a long time. A dedicated volunteer at ACC took him for a bath, which made a huge difference! She uncovered a gorgeous and friendly husky (?) mix with white fur, blue eyes and huge ears who is about 1 year old. He weighs just under 40lbs but is quite thin and needs to put on some weight.



Despite all this and obviously having had a tough former life, Prince is really sweet, affectionate and engaging with people, great with the other dogs and is really playful. He loves rolling in the grass and just being around people and dogs. He got his name because he has black eyeliner like the singer, but also because he's a former yard dog who will soon be living like a prince in his forever home!
