Doc's Story...
Doc was the runt of the litter of seven dwarfs. He contracted an upper respiratory infection and his mama abandoned him so he would die. He was taken in by an employee at a vet hospital and given medicine to treat his infection and nursed back to health. He is growing and developing great. Although he is too young to receive his first year shots, he has been given a clean bill of health from the vet otherwise. This little guy loves to play and then curl up in the crook of your arm to take a nap. Could he be the perfect little companion for you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doc, a Williamsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Williamsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Williamsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
