FURRY FRIEND link

Zoeys coat looks like a dilute blue with fawn/sable mixed in it so depending what kind of light is how it looks

her coat is more coarse and not short and smooth but on the more med lenght side

her coat gets darker grey in winter and in summer looks more fawn/grey

Zoey is about 2-3 years, 68 short stocky happy loving pounds a real beauty, her tummy has tightened up a lot in the months here with us

one of the worst casees we have ever seen of her tummy sagging from being over bred many times in her short lifetime but she's happy and healthy and spayed no more unwanted nor wanted pups here

she is super sweet, mellow but fun and playful BIG personality, loves kids as you can see on pics
a 8 yr old she just met and best friends within seconds has no hang ups

seems to be fine with the other dogs she has met prefer friendly male dog if any at home but has done well with all foster dogs of each gender small and large through play area fencing no aggression ever

don't know about cats

never abused that we can tell but used for breeding many times over

This gal was pulled in the last min from the Stockton shelter where so many moms are killed as few rescues take the breed the ones that do are full see her before pics on our site under the FURRY FRIEND link as well as lots of videos and pictures

Zoey is a total love everyone at the Vets loves her she is so cute and super at the Vets let them do anything with a happy smile on her face

Zoey loves loves loves to be on her back and roll:) get her tummy rubbed get lots of love has no hang ups and loves all people young and old

She's fairly easy a short walk a day or two then back to the couch for love and hanging out

She does pull on the leash so a no pull harness or Gentle Leader best we think she only had leash walks since with us so more to learn

she sits for you though she loves food she does not take treats when excited or on car rides

She's super in car and loads up easily in back seat rolls around in there and just hangs out

Zoey is on daily meds (not very expensive) after her spay she started leaking urine just drops so we put her on meds she may not need them for life so adopter with Vet supervision can eventually wean her off and see how it goes without

She gets one in am one in pm in a bite of canfood so easy to give

We would love for her to get into a stable home, home owners nice kids at home fine but prefer over 6 yrs only dog or a mellow easy non aggressive older male dog ok as never put fem to fem or male to male with this breed

She most likely could be trained around a dog savvy cat since she's on the mellow side with little to no prey drive

Zoey is ready and waiting for a matching superloving family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey couch potato, a Sacramento American Staffordshire Terrier/English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/English Bulldog for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/English Bulldog breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
