Hunter's Story...
Hi, my name is Hunter and I am a handsome, middle aged guy who weighs 8 lbs and I am a love bug. I follow my foster mom around the kitchen and the yard. When I am not capturing all my toys, I love to lie in my doggy bed and take a nap on my own. I have lots of love to give. I will follow you where ever you go and enjoy being showered with love and treats. I sit like a good boy to get my hair combed, no growling or nipping here! I even roll over for a belly rub. I like to chase the ball but I have an interest in cats. My foster mom has made all these cool ways that the cats are out of my reach and I am learning respect for kitties. If you want a calm but playful lap dog and love bug, ask for me on your application....Love, Hunter 071212-1

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Gilbert Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
