Bo is a big furry cat who loves to play. He'll chase string, toys, even his own tail! He loves scampering around the room, looking out windows, and making adorable sounds like a little cartoon character. One of his favorite things is riding on people's shoulders. Sometimes he'll even lick your hair! He's a goofy guy with a lot of character and adorable white spots on his chest and belly. Scratch him on his cheeks or under his jaw and he'll melt in your arms.
Bo was a loyal mouser in a bodega in Bay Ridge (hence the name "Bo"). He loved riding around on the owner’s shoulders and made friends with customers. Then the economy slowed and the bodega closed down. Bo lost his job and was cruelly thrown away into the streets. Abandoned and left to fend for himself, he was terrified, hungry, and heartbroken. Luckily, neighbors alerted Brooklyn Animal Action to his plight. Thank goodness we were able to rescue him before it was too late! Bo has a temporary place to stay in Sunset Park. But he needs a forever home with people who’ll love him, appreciate him, keep him safe, and repay his loyalty.
Bo is fully vetted: neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, up-to-date on shots and ready to go home with you!
Please email catskittensnyc@gmail.com or call claire eves/weekends at 718-455-5711 to meet Bo!
Thanks for thinking of a rescued kitty! Every dime we take in goes to rescuing the next angel on the street.
Rescue Group Info...
We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.
Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.
Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
Primarily Brooklyn, New York but also the rest of New York City.
