Atticus's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Atticus's Story...
Handsome Atticus was found wandering the streets of Houston. He walked up to some volunteers who were trying to catch another dog....what a lucky day for him! Turns out this gentle giant is about 3 yrs old, calm, sweet and appears to be a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix. Atticus definitely has the good qualities of both breeds and would make a great family dog. Atticus currently weighs about 80 lbs and needs to gain another 10. He's a lovely boy inside and out and looking for a permanent, loving home.

Atticus is vaccinated, neutered, and dewormed. He has received flea and heartworm preventatives and has tested negative for heartworms.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Atticus, a Spring Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Spring, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
