Herman's Story...
Hi! my name is Herman and I was rescued from a very unsafe beach in Puerto Rico along with my brother and sister. I am being fostered near Princeton New Jersey. I am 9 months old, 13 lbs full grown. I am neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and housetrained. Herman's foster mom LOVES him. Herman is very affectionate, very well behaved and loves people. Herman's issue is that he has a twitch/tick that causes him to frequently hop. His two front legs are often moving up and down, even when he sleeps. so when he is walking his upper body is ticking. This does not stop Herman from doing ANYTHING :)). We think Herman would do better with children over 13. If you are interested in adopting him please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you! Herman :))

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Herman, a Madison Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Madison, or seeking a Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
