Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a young male cattle/Shepherd/mix. He was found wandering in a state park in Arkansas and was picked up by a Ranger. No owner has come forward and he arrived at Gail's Pets.

Charlie is a sweet dog. He gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter, and does not appear to be aggressive in any manner. His chestnut coat is beautiful, and he's very handsome when his ears perk up!

Charlie is neutered and up to date on his immunizations. If you would like to make Charlie a part of your family, please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229 or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Oakland Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
