Tazzy's Story...
Tazzy, a 10 yr old Chow/German Shepherd Meet Tazzy and read her story: Tazzy came to us in a strange way. At an adoption event in Denver, a young man was told this dog was going to be euthanized because she was not adopted that day. This man said he would foster her, as she was too special to euthanize. He has had her for weeks now and the shelter that is supposed to be placing her won't return his calls. So, WE will place this angel. She is such an easy dog. She is house trained, she loves people! She aims to please! The saddest part of this story? Her owners got a puppy, so dumped her at a shelter. 10 yrs old! We think she would do amazing with anyone, but would like to see her have a fenced-yard. Please help us help her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tazzy, a Alliance Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Chow Chow/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
