Lefty's Story...
Meet Lefty. He comes to us with a story. As a baby, he was a stray and was taken to the local vet clinic. After three days, he was to be euthanized. That day, an elderly couple came in with their senior dogs to get their vaccinations. They could not let such a beautiful puppy be killed! So, they took him home. He grew. And he grew and he grew! She, on a walker and he in a wheelchair, they could not handle such a large dog with puppy energy! They had no fenced-yard and it was difficult for them to walk him. That is where his story begins with us. He is house trained and spent the first few weeks we had him in a country home. He loved to run and play with the other dogs and enjoyed the space! Right now, he is living with one of our obedience trainers. There he gets some basic training to make him the perfect dog for about any family. He does well in just about any setting. He is gorgeous, loves other dogs, plays with kids like crazy, and enjoys attention. He would love to be a part of your family. Can you offer him forever?
He is current on vaccinations, neutered, and is 10-12 months old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lefty, a Alliance Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
