Lola's Story...
**Reduced adoption fee** We don't want these sweethearts growing up in rescue and we've already had them almost a month. Their adoption fee has been reduced from $250 to $200.

Lola also has a "twin" sister Leila (slightly smaller than her) who also needs a home. They do not have to stay together.

Don't miss the video of these girls playing. They are VERY laid back, this video is of them as "wound up" as they can be (still pretty mellow). http://youtu.be/EmkC76vh88U

Leila and Lola were born on 3/5/12. The vet thinks they will be 90-100 lbs fully grown.

Leila and Lola were an owner surrender and this is how we know their exact age and breed. We did meet both parents (and the mother was also surrendered to us.)
Their mother is a Chocolate Lab and father is a purebred large German Shepherd. Both have really great and friendly temperaments.

Leila and Lola have very laid back and sweet personalities. They aren't overly excitable for their age but do love to be loved and seek out attention. They have been socialized with other dogs and kids already. Both girls LOVE water (they have a kiddie pool in the yard at their foster home that they like to play in). Neither of these girls were housetrained when we got them since they had always been kept outside. Both are now using only one part of the yard to go potty and will use a puppy pads inside if they can't make it out (like during the night when no one is up to let them out) and they can and will use a dog door.

Both girls are SOLID black, very good looking dogs! They are already almost as tall as their mother, a 75 lb lab. At their last vet visit on 7/3/12 they weighed in at 42 and 44 pounds. We currently think they are around 50-55 lbs (and taller than their mother, see Kimber, also listed with our rescue).

Please contact us if you are interested in Leila or Lola, the adoption fee is $250 (each).
They are already spayed, up to date on shots (including rabies) and microchipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Greeley Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Greeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
