UPDATE: Ali's foster mom is moving into a small apartment and can no longer foster dogs! Our rescue has NO other place to put Ali! She needs a new foster home, an adoptive home, or another rescue willing to take her ASAP!

Ali is a 4 ½ year old medium sized female, Labrador mix, black with white tuxedo markings on her chest and one paw. She has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and shots are up to date. Currently Ali eats Purina Pro Plan and does well on it.

Positive Characteristics:

1. She is very friendly and loves children.

2. She loves to visit the elderly in the nursing home.

3. She loves to cuddle.

4. She is kennel trained, but tries to avoid because she currently spends most of her day in there.

5. She loves to walk on a leash and ride in car.

Problems/Issues that can be corrected with proper training:

  1. Jumping on children and adults.
  2. Ali does not get along with other dogs, due to her possessive nature. She is very possessive of her human.
  3. She is very anxious and fearful in new situations, causing her to urinate involuntarily when afraid.
  4. She is terrified of bad weather, fireworks, loud noises.
  5. Ali is a very heavy shedder, so she would do well to be brushed regularly.

Ali's adoption fee has been reduced to only $100.00 to try and help her find a home faster.

However, if you are with a rescue that would like to take Ali, there is no transfer fee, but we will require proof of rescue status so we can verify before transport will be arranged.

If interested in adopting or fostering one of our dogs, please fill out our prescreening application.
