Swans a swimming...'s Story...
These gorgeous mute swans are anxious to find a home. They are lovely and graceful - they need a pond or lake, ideally with an island (natural or man-made to provide protection from predators) and regular meals. We adopt in pairs as swans like having a friend. If you are interested, please go to our website www.cwrescue.org and click on Adoptions. You'll find more information about our adoption process, information about having swans as pets, and a link to our online adoption form. We do not ever ship our swans - you will need to come to Indian Trail, NC to pick up your new pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swans a swimming..., a Indian Trail Swan was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Swan for sale in Indian Trail, or seeking a Swan from a breeder in Indian Trail.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indian Trail already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indian Trail breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Swan breeders who help with Swan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indian Trail paves the way for another one to be saved.
