Maybelline can be shy but she does like to hang out with you and watch TV. In the morning, she wants love and attention. If you’re reading a newspaper, she’ll be there. She loves to lie on newspaper. She’s a low maintenance kind of gal! Maybelline and her sister were dumped as young kittens behind a store at a strip mall when we were just tiny little things…hungry, shaking and afraid.

Her first foster mama named her Maybelline because she said it looked like she tried to put mascara on, got it all on one side of the face but missed the other.

Maybelline was adopted as a kitten but had to be returned to Alley Cats and Angels after her adoptive mom was diagnosed with a serious medical condition. She was not around other cats for almost a year so she takes a while to adjust to them but she seems to settle in fine with other cats.

Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.
